Good afternoon, RJ Grey Families:

I hope you are doing well. To start off, I offer a sincere thank you to all the veterans who are part of our AB community. Thank you for your service to our country. We didn't have school on Monday (for professional day) or Tuesday (for Veterans Day). While I'm still a bit confused about what day of the week it actually is, we're back at RJ Grey and getting to work in the last 10 days of the term, heading toward Thanksgiving.

Our school musical, Seussical, Jr. will open its shows in December. If you're able to join us on December 4, 5, or 6 at 7 pm or Sunday, December 7 at 2 pm, you'll be in for a treat. Our musical tryouts took place in the early fall. Since then, our actors, singers, dancers, and crew members, along with the adult musicians, directors, and choreographers, have been putting the final touches on what will be a great show. You may have seen emails coming your way about our annual RJ Grey Yearbook. Now is the time to order a book that will be distributed during the last week of school in June. Each year, we always have students or families upset that they didn't place an order in the fall. If you order by December 23rd, the cost of this momento is $37. We'll be sponsoring a school-wide spelling bee for any interested students. This will be part of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, so we may end up seeing one of our students on ESPN later this spring! Interested students should complete this registration form here. The students must be available for both rounds on December 11 (2:45 - 4:00) and December 18 (2:45 - 5:00).
