Parent Portal Instructions Grade 6 to 7

Steps to Complete Course Registration on the Parent Portal

Step 1: Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

  • If you have forgotten your password or have never logged into the Portal, please contact Kerry Lewis (klewis@abschools.org) or call the Counseling Office at (978) 264-3350.

 

Step 2: Choose your child’s name in the top header.

 

Step 3: Choose Forms on the left sidebar 

 

Step 4: Under 26-27 RJG Scheduling, please open the two forms listed below

 

  • Form 1 : World Language Preference
    • Please choose French, Spanish, or No World Language Class due to Support Classes. 

 

  • Form 2 : RJ Grey JHS Grey Block Registration
    • If you want to take a year-long music elective: Choose Band, Chorus, or String Orchestra in the dropdown menu, followed by Submit.

 

  • If you want to take a series of Grey Block elective classes, choose Grey Block Rotation.
    • Please select your most preferred course under Preference 1; Enter your second preferred course under Preference 2, etc.
    • We do our best to schedule students into their most preferred classes, so please make sure to select 5 options.
    • Depending on space and scheduling constraints, we may be able to offer some students the chance to have two Grey Block Phys Ed classes. If interested in this option, please choose “Additional PE class.”

Your child may have other forms in the Portal (ASC, Math Explorations, Reading, etc.) Please read any forms located in the Portal – these have been included specifically for your child.
