Change in Morning Drop-off starting tomorrow

I hope your children have all adjusted to the start of the school year at RJ Grey. We are very excited to have all of our students back!

Thank you to everyone who has used the lower parking lot to drop off your students this week. That system mostly flows smoothly, and I thank you for following our directions in the parking lot. Please always pull as far forward as you can - either up to the orange cones or up to the car in front of you. Also note that I may ask you to wait for students or staff to cross safely, and I might ask you to wait as I direct a few more cars to pull into the line. I always have safety in mind first of all, and second, I'm trying to get you on your way quickly!

A change starting tomorrow: Prior to 8 am, and until further notice, please do not pull into the front circle to let your child out for morning drop-off. Our buses are still perfecting their routes and timing and many buses now arrive later than in prior years. Having cars in the front circle or on the ramps leading to the circle slows down our buses and creates a dangerous situation for students and drivers. Please only drop off your child in the lower parking lot according to the map below. Your student will then climb the stairs to enter RJ Grey. It might be tempting to drop your child off on Charter Road, or even Mass Ave - please only drop off students in our lower parking lot.
