Welcome to RJ Grey!
We love working with families of 6th graders as they transition to RJ Grey. We hope to see you at our Info Session on April 26. If we don't see you in-person, we'll upload a video of the presentation soon after April 26. We'll have other opportunities for your children to get to know RJ Grey a bit, too. This spring, our counselors will visit each elementary school to talk about RJ Grey. And then in June, each 6th grade class from each elementary school will visit RJ Grey for a tour before heading off for summer vacation.
Formal Registration Process
1. Read the Registration Packet - On Mon, 4/24, Principal Jim Marcotte emailed a link to the registration packet to all 6th grade parents & guardians. The packets below are full of important details. Reading the documents will make the whole transition process much simpler for you and your child!

2. Attend the "Family Info Night" for 6th grade parents and guardians on Wed 4/26 at 6:45PM. Mr. Marcotte will host a Family Info Session at RJ Grey to share info about RJ Grey Junior High School and how to complete the registration process.

3. Register on Parent Portal - From Wed 5/3 through Friday 5/12, our Parent Portal will be open to formally begin the registration process. You will indicate your child's preferences for World Language and Grey Block Electives, and view any recommended services if applicable. Please reference the registration packets (above) for detailed instructions on how to successfully register. Note: there is no need to wake up early on 5/3 to select your child's choices! Submission time has no bearing on scheduling as long as it occurs by the 5/12 deadline.

4. Optional: Fill out the Family Information Form. We understand that there may be information worth considering during the placement process. Should that be the case, you may complete the optional Family Information Form. This form will be available beginning Wed May 3rd and must be completed by May 19, 2023.
